Our Story

Chillybean Espresso & Ice Cream started off partially as a joke. I had spent over a decade in the coffee industry before leaving to become a full time stay-at-home-mom to my two children. I’m the type that always loves a good project and one summer I floated the idea past my husband about “what if I opened a coffee and ice cream catering truck?” — like any good husband he humored me and next thing I knew I was out looking at classic trucks in order to find my Chilly! Once we found her it was a relief that my extended family was on board. I knew I’d need all the help I could get to turn that big blue 1970 Chevy Stepvan into what she is today. With a lot of love, help, patience, and dreaming, the rest was history!
